You can change your thinking to create better results. Is it possible to change our results just by changing our thinking?
The short answer is yes!
Here’s the long answer… (and there’s an even longer one which I’m happy to send you, see below): Sometimes, we live under the illusion that external circumstances determine our results.
For example, Did the client says yes? Did the funding come through? Is your team taking more ownership? Is your spouse listening better?
These are all externally driven results. If they don’t happen we feel frustrated, stuck, and disappointed, which leads to a vicious cycle of even more poor results.
When we see how our thinking drives our results (and that our thinking has even more influence on results than external events or experiences), we can begin to work with our thinking to create better outcomes.
The different ways in which we can interpret situations may lead to vastly different feelings, actions and outcomes.
When you change your thinking, you change how you interpret situations, which shifts the way you feel and in turn, changes how you act, and leads to different results.
If we want to shift our results, we begin with shifting our thinking. If you want to know more and see an example of how this works in practice, hit reply (or DM me) and I’ll send you the full article I wrote on this topic.
