Eight months ago, Google offered to purchase Wiz for $23B, which would have still been the largest exit in Israel’s history and many founders may have jumped at the opportunity.
But Asaf said no.
Why?
Because he understood the true value of what he was building.
He had the patience and conviction to hold out—and it paid off.
That led to the conclusion of a second round of negotiations, sealing the deal at $9B more than Google’s previous offer.
Certainly worth the wait.
Lucky? Maybe.
