That’s because, by this date, most people do actually ditch the resolutions they’ve made for the New Year.
Research shows that by January 17th, our intentions, resolutions, goals, ideas – whatever you want to call them – have mostly been forgotten and abolished. Somehow, we’re back to our regular routine. Our desire for change, excitement, stepping up has waned a little.
And I happen to think it’s great! Because success does not depend on New Year’s resolutions made and ditched. Success doesn’t happen overnight. It takes years.
So…
Permission to ditch your new year’s resolutions granted.
And at the same time, let’s continue working towards what we really want. I want to invite you to take a few steps to keep moving forward. Check your review of 2019 and remind yourself what you said you wanted for 2020.
If you haven’t done your review yet, it’s not too late…
Here’s the link for a quick review you can do online Strategy Boost 2019
Your bonus is that you can submit your answers to me and I’ll be happy to check-in with you later in the year on how you’re doing.
So don’t let our energy wane one month into the year. Every step forward builds momentum towards where you want to be. It’s not about resolutions, it’s about moving forward to create the life and success that you want, and it does take time.
My Tip:
- Complete your review for 2019 and strategy boost for 2020
- Choose ONE thing you learned from 2019 that you would like to redo or change for 2020
- Commit yourself to do just that – create action out of this and put it in your calendar right away.
What is the one thing you learned from 2019 that you would like to redo in 2020? Let me know, and maybe we could work on this together?
