I base my business on this philosophy too and I haven’t been disappointed.
It may sound idealistic but that’s what it means to be purpose-driven.
The key here is to know what you believe!
This philosophy requires that we get really clear on what it is that we believe, what we stand for and why we’re here.
It requires that we speak our message boldly into the world so that we draw in the people we want to work with. It requires that we say “no” to business opportunities that don’t fit and that’s a really tough thing to do.
It doesn’t mean that we must only hang out with people who are like us. After all diversity is great. At the same time, when we spend a lot of time working with people, we want to have shared values and an ability to discuss our differences with respect and acceptance.
