This morning I woke up and watched a YouTube video that landed up on my feed and it was beautiful. That’s what I want to share with you today. It’s a clip from America’s Got Talent with Nightbirde singing and I believe she’s here to remind us what it looks as like when you’re being authentic, doing your thing.
Nightbirde has cancer, with a 2% chance of survival, and she’s singing ‘it’s okay. She’s radiant and glowing and happy. The sentence she said that stayed with me was:
“You don’t have to wait for the bad stuff to be over, in order to be happy.”
“You don’t have to wait for the bad stuff to be over, in order to be happy.”
Let’s bear that in mind as we face our trials and challenges.
Let’s look for the things that make up happy and then go experience that happiness.
