Data privacy, love and loss -You may ask, what have these 3 things got to do with each other?

They’re 3 elements that bring together Dan Frechtling’s powerful story.

When his wife was ill with stage 4 cancer, the statistics said she’d live for 4 months (she actually lived for 18 months). Dan turned to the Internet to search for as much information as possible, anything that could help understand this disease. At his most vulnerable moments, ads were popping up about all things cancer-related, many of which were not helpful at all. It felt to him like the vultures were circling. After his wife’s passing, he kept getting bombarded by data leakage and surveillance advertising.

His experience led to him founding his business, Boltive, for securing data privacy and stopping the bad guys.

A thought leader in the data privacy space, Dan works hard every day to educate brands and publishers on how to proactively reach consumers without constantly missing the mark.
